Helping your mother sell the family home of 55 years is an important job and we needed the right person to guide us on this financial, personal and emotional journey. While I am aware there are many “super agents” out there (my term, not Paul’s), the most important decision from my standpoint was to find the one person who would best protect my mother’s interests at all times and somehow put together a transaction that would be fair and equitable for all parties long after the closing date. Put another way, it was not all about the money. This was not an easy assignment as we were dealing with a property that needed a lot of love and commitment from the next owners. I realized there would be economic buyers popping up during the process (and there were), but the goal was to find the right natural buyer. After several months of planning prior to listing, the sale process went very well and we were fortunate to identify the right buyers who we hope will enjoy their own 55-year family adventure in their new home. Paul’s advice during the entire process was instrumental in maintaining our focus on what was important and what would lead to the desired outcome for all parties. I believe Paul’s broad business experience, his passion for real estate, and his personal character traits make him an excellent (and fun) person to work with during one of the most important transactions in a person’s life.
